Representing Italy in this edition, the artist and photographer Alessandra Calo from Reggio Emilia also won the prize with his design editorial of the prestigious Festival "Kochan", born in 2016 when the New York Public Library announces the provision for inspection of its entire archive, with over 180 thousand documents between geographical maps, manuscripts and letters. In this photographic work reinterpretation of vintage materials it overlaps and blends in contemporary bodies to represent a "personal travel concept" but universal, that every man does – over the life – to assert its identity.
The project won the Award of the French publishing house editorial Tribew, it will publish in an e-book the full set of images that create "Kochan".
Born in Taranto in 1977, Alessandra Calo lives and works in Reggio Emilia, He is devoting himself to his work as an artist and freelance photographer.
